Harvest moon set to appear before summer’s end



Sep 12, 2016; 9:06 AM ET The Harvest moon is the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox. It will begin on Sept. 16. The moon will rise at sunset and low on the horizon, making it look bigger than it really is due to an illusion.
